• EnquiriesWhen you send an enquiry by WhatsApp, email or phone, we receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, phone number, business name and message. The enquiry form on this website doesn't store anything itself; it opens WhatsApp or your email app with your message ready for you to send.
• Customer informationIf you become a customer, we keep the contact, billing and account details needed to provide and support your services.
• Website usageWe use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the website is used, such as which pages are visited. It doesn't use cookies or track you across other websites.
• Technical dataOur hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the website.

How we use your information

We use your information to reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes, provide and support our services, send invoices, keep our website secure and meet our legal obligations. We don't sell your personal information.

Our lawful bases

We rely on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract and performing a contract when we handle enquiries and provide services, on our legitimate interests in running and improving our business and website, and on legal obligation where we must keep records such as accounts.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers who help us run our business, such as Cloudflare (website hosting and analytics), Google (website fonts), Meta (WhatsApp, if you contact us that way), our email provider and our accountants. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.

If you're a customer or have asked us about our services, we may occasionally contact you about similar services. You can opt out at any time by replying to the message or emailing us.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information for up to two years if you don't become a customer. We keep customer and accounting records for as long as needed to provide our services and for six years afterwards to meet legal and tax requirements.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask us to transfer it. Email info@wktechexpert.com and we'll respond within one month.
